Low-income families, seniors and individuals with disabilities in East Carroll Parish will receive essential support through a $4,000 grant from internet provider Sparklight. Awarded through the Sparklight Charitable Giving Fund, the grant will help East Carroll Community Action Agency provide food, essential supplies and utility assistance to neighbors in need.

Carlisle is a true cowgirl, and is always winning awards for showing livestock and in this case for her horsemanship. The trophy says Northeast District Horse Show for ages 14 and over.
