Arrests and charges by Lake Providence Police Department and East Carroll Parish Sheriff’s Office for week ending December 11:
12/07/2023 – Adolphus Young, 58, arrested for probation violation. He is being held on a purge order. This amount must be paid in full by December 21, 2023 or his probation will be fully revoked and he will be required to serve the remainder of his sentence. The purge order is the amount he owes in past due probation fees, fines, and court costs.
12/7/2023 – Antranika Shelton, 32, arrested for probation violation. She is being held on a $1,768 purge order, which is the amount she owes in probation fees, fines and other court costs. This amount must be paid in full by December 21, 2023 or the probation revocation becomes complete and she must then serve her sentence.
12/07/2023 – Iris Thompson, 49, arrested on probation violation. She was held on a purge order of $668 in past due probation fees, fines, and court costs. She was released later that day after the order was paid.
12/08/2023 – April Gaine, 38, charged with remaining after being forbidden and resisting an officer. She was released on $1,760 bond.
12/09/23 – Donald Thompson, 31, was arrested and charged with theft. He was released on $1,000 bond.
