The John H. Scott Memorial Fund scholarship fund held its annual announcement ceremony Saturday. First place recipient of a $6,000 scholarship is Madison Martin (at right), an honor student at General Trass High School who plans to attend Southern University Baton Rouge and major in engineering. Madison also won the video contest and received the attendance award for having the highest number of supporters in attendance at the program. Second place recipient is Shakira Turner (left) from Tensas High School.
