LARRY BROCK June is the absolute peak of the blooming season for the iconic Southern Magnolia ( Magnolia grandiflora) in Louisiana. The massive, pure-white, and lemony-scented blossoms are in full swing across East Carroll, and will continue to flower sporadically throughout the hot summer months, according to the LSU AgCenter.
