DEBRA HOPKINS Lake Providence volunteer firefighter Brad McIntrye drove to the scene of last week's house fire on Morgan Street straight from his regular employment and immediately grabbed a hose. In an effort to minimize damage to the brick house beside the blaze, McIntyre immediately concentrated the water spray onto the occupied home before turning the hose on the blaze. McIntyre has firefighting in his blood. His father, Jimmy 'Junior' McIntyre, had been a firefighter for 28 years before his death.
