GTHS best of Big Cats

Despite some non-league losses, the Briarfield softball team will go into the South State Tournament as a #1 seed Saturday at 4 pm at the Sterlington Sports Complex. If they win, they’ll play Monday at noon and a win there will carry them into the South State Championship game that afternoon at 4 pm. Despite not having the home-field advantage, the General Trass Panthers scored 48 points and limited the host Madison Jaguars to 12 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
