Despite some non-league losses, the Briarfield softball team will go into the South State Tournament as a #1 seed Saturday at 4 pm at the Sterlington Sports Complex. If they win, they’ll play Monday at noon and a win there will carry them into the South State Championship game that afternoon at 4 pm.
