A large group of breast cancer survivors were joined by supporters and others in Lake Providence whose lives had been touched in some way by the dreadful disease at the Grace and Mercy Outreach’s first annual breast cancer awareness walk.

The renovation plans at the East Carroll Parish Hospital are moving along, said LaDonna Englerth, hospital administrator, but the project is turning out to be much more costly than the initial estimate.
